Common Questions

How does junk removal pricing work?

By the space your load takes up in the truck, not by the hour and not by the item. A single item costs less than a quarter load, a quarter costs less than a half. You get the price before we start and it doesn't move.

Do I have to carry anything outside?

No. That's the job. We carry it from wherever it sits, upstairs, basement, back yard or shed. You point at it.

Can you come today?

Often, depending on the day and where you are. Call or text and we'll tell you honestly rather than promise a slot we can't hold.

Do I need to be home?

Not if we can reach the items and you've agreed the price. Plenty of people leave a garage open and send a photo. For anything inside the house we'd rather you or someone you trust is there.

What do you do with the stuff?

Anything still usable gets donated where we can. The rest goes to the proper facility. Nothing gets dumped down a back road.

Do you take appliances?

Yes, washers, dryers, stoves, dishwashers and water heaters. Fridges and AC units need the refrigerant removed by a certified tech before they can be taken, so tell us up front and we'll explain what that takes.

Can you take a hot tub or a shed?

Yes. Hot tubs, sheds, swing sets, trampolines and above-ground pools get broken down on site. Send a photo and we'll tell you what's involved before we come out.

What won't you take?

Hazardous waste, paint and chemicals, motor oil, gasoline, propane tanks, tires, car batteries, asbestos and medical waste. If you're not sure, ask.

Tell us what you're clearing out

We'll tell you which size you need and check availability for your date. No pressure and no surprise fees.

What we can't haul

For safety and landfill rules, we can't take: hazardous waste, paint, chemicals, motor oil, gasoline, propane tanks, tires, car batteries, asbestos, medical or biohazard waste, and appliances containing refrigerant unless it has been professionally removed. Not sure about an item? Call us and ask, we'll tell you straight.
