Text Messaging Terms

These Text Messaging Terms govern the text message programme operated by Local Dumpster Pro and supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By providing a mobile telephone number to Local Dumpster Pro you agree to these Text Messaging Terms.

1. Programme description

Local Dumpster Pro operates a text message programme for the purpose of arranging, performing and completing junk removal, hauling and container rental work. Messages are transactional and service related and concern a job you have asked us to quote, have booked, or are performing with us. Message content includes quotations and links to confirm and pay, requests for photographs so that work may be scoped accurately, confirmation of dates and arrival windows, crew en route notifications, completion and receipt confirmations, and follow-up concerning the work performed.

Where you are a crew or contractor working with Local Dumpster Pro, messages concern available work, work orders, scheduling and the documentation required for payment.

2. Consent

You consent to receive text messages at the mobile number you provide when you request a quotation, book work, or otherwise provide that number to us for the purpose of arranging work, whether by telephone, through the Site, or in person. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You may ask us to communicate by telephone or email instead at any time.

This programme carries service messages only. Messages concern your own job: your quotation, the arrival window, the crew, and payment. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages under this programme. If you separately ask us to email you offers, that is an email consent and carries no text messages with it.

You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the number provided and that you are authorised to consent on that number. You agree to notify us promptly if the number is reassigned or is no longer yours.

3. Message frequency

Message frequency varies. Frequency depends on the job and on your engagement with us. A typical job involves between three and ten messages from initial quotation to receipt. We do not send recurring messages after a job is complete other than any follow-up described in Section 1.

4. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Local Dumpster Pro does not charge for messages. Your mobile carrier may charge according to your plan, and you are responsible for those charges.

5. Opting out

Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive a single message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, after which no further messages will be sent to that number.

Opting out of text messages does not cancel scheduled work. Where work is booked, contact us by telephone or email so that arrangements can be confirmed by another means. We may be unable to provide arrival window updates by text after you opt out.

7. Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and to network availability, and is not guaranteed.

Messages are supported on major carriers in the United States including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Boost, MetroPCS and their affiliates. Carrier participation is subject to change without notice to us.

8. Privacy and mobile information

Message content may be processed by our messaging service provider solely in order to deliver the messages. We retain message content as part of the job record in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may amend these Text Messaging Terms. The effective date above indicates when they were last revised.
