Effective 25 September 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Local Dumpster Pro (“Local Dumpster Pro”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses and safeguards information in connection with our website at localdumpsterpro.com (the “Site”) and the junk removal, hauling and container rental services we provide (together, the “Services”). By using the Site or engaging us to perform Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy.
Mobile information. Local Dumpster Pro does not sell, rent, lease or otherwise transfer mobile telephone numbers, or consent to receive text messages, to any third party or affiliate for that party's own marketing purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of information sharing described in this Policy.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Identity and contact information. Your name, telephone number, email address and billing address.
- Service information. The service address, a description of the materials or project, access instructions, preferred dates and any site-specific details you give us.
- Visual information. Photographs and video you submit so that we may scope and price work accurately, and photographic records captured by our personnel or contracted crews in the course of performing Services.
- Communications. Telephone calls, text messages, email and web form submissions exchanged with us, including their content and metadata.
- Transaction information. Amounts, dates, and the services purchased. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor and are not stored on our systems.
1.2 Information collected automatically
When you access the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect device and usage information including IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, session duration, and timestamps. This information is collected through cookies, pixels, tags, software development kits, local storage and comparable technologies.
1.3 Information from third parties
We may receive information from advertising and analytics platforms, lead generation sources, review platforms, directory listings, and from contracted crews performing work at your property.
2. Cookies, analytics and advertising technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for operation, measurement and advertising. These include:
- Strictly necessary technologies required for the Site to function, including security and load balancing.
- Analytics technologies, which may include Google Analytics, used to understand how the Site is used and to improve it.
- Advertising and conversion measurement technologies, which may include Google Ads, the Google conversion linker, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Advertising and comparable platforms. These technologies allow us and our advertising partners to measure campaign performance and to deliver advertising to you on other websites and applications, including advertising based on your prior interaction with the Site.
Certain of these technologies may result in the disclosure of identifiers and browsing activity to the relevant platform. Depending on your state of residence, such disclosure may be characterised in law as a “sale” of personal information or as “sharing” or “processing for targeted advertising”, irrespective of whether any money changes hands. Section 7 explains how to opt out.
Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Refusing cookies may impair Site functionality. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in this Section applies to mobile telephone numbers or SMS consent, which are never disclosed for third-party marketing.
2.1 Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
The Site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals, as no common standard for such signals has been adopted. Where required by applicable law, we honour opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control transmitted by your browser.
3. How we use information

- To communicate with you about a quotation, booking, arrival window, completion or invoice.
- To process payments, issue receipts, and administer refunds, credits and chargebacks.
- To create and retain a record of work performed, including photographic records, for quality assurance and in order to establish, exercise or defend claims.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Site and the Services.
- To market our own services to you, including by email, telephone, direct mail and, where you have consented, by text message, and to measure and optimise our advertising.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. How we disclose information
We disclose information in the following circumstances:
- Personnel and contracted crews. Where a job is performed by a subcontracted crew under Section 2 of our Terms of Service, we disclose the service address, scope of work, access instructions, relevant photographs and the scheduled window. We do not disclose payment information to crews.
- Service providers. Payment processing, telecommunications and messaging, hosting and infrastructure, analytics, advertising, scheduling and customer relationship management providers, each acting on our behalf and bound to use the information only for the services they provide to us.
- Advertising and analytics platforms, as described in Section 2.
- Professional advisers, including legal counsel, accountants and insurers.
- Corporate transactions. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation or sale of assets, information may be transferred as a business asset, subject to this Policy.
- Legal and safety. Where we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, subpoena or court order, or is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of any person.
We do not disclose mobile telephone numbers or SMS consent to any third party for that party's marketing purposes, and we do not sell such information.
5. Photographic records
Photographs and video captured in connection with a job form part of the service record and are retained in accordance with Section 8. We may use such imagery in our own marketing where it does not identify you, your household or your address. You may instruct us in writing not to use imagery of your property for marketing, and we will comply.
6. Security
We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, including encryption in transit, access controls and authenticated administrative access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not warrant absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights

7.2 State privacy rights
Residents of certain states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and Montana, have rights under applicable state privacy law which may include the right to confirm whether we process personal information about them, to access it, to obtain a portable copy, to correct inaccuracies, to request deletion, and to opt out of targeted advertising, of the sale or sharing of personal information, and of profiling in furtherance of decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. We do not use personal information for such profiling.
To exercise a right, contact us using Section 11. We will verify your request by reference to information already in our records, and respond within the period required by applicable law. You may use an authorised agent where the law permits; we may require proof of authorisation. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.
We do not knowingly process the personal information of consumers under 16 for purposes of sale or targeted advertising.
